Flora & Fauna

Flora is all the plant life present in a particular region or time, generally the naturally occurring (indigenous) native plants.

Fauna is all of the animal life present in a particular region or time.

Activities/ Learning Intentions

1: Learn about the element of art value. What is value? How do you achieve value using watercolour paints?

2: Learn how to use watercolour paints.

3: Explore value scales using watercolour  paints.

4: Learn wet-on-wet watercolour techniques (pushing, pulling & poking)

5. Learn how to paint different types of flowers using watercolours.

6: find out information about an artist of choice whose work is inspired by flora.
